It is a real class, not a sales call. Your child sits a full 45 minute class: the same whiteboard, the same style of questions, the same preparation as any weekly class.

Afterward, you and I speak for thirty minutes, where your child is now, what they need next, and whether we are the right fit for each other. About seventy five minutes of your time, no payment details, and the decision remains entirely yours.

US: Digital SAT, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, AP Precalculus, Common Core middle and high school. International: IB Diploma Mathematics AA & AI at SL and HL, Cambridge International (CIE 0580 IGCSE, 0606 Additional Mathematics, 9709 A-Level). UK: Edexcel, AQA, OCR (A and MEI). Admissions: MAT, TMUA, STEP I/II/III, Cambridge ENGAA-style problems and Oxbridge engineering interview preparation.

Kindergarten through Grade 12 (roughly ages five through eighteen), across mathematics, physics, and space exploration, plus students preparing for university entrance in mathematics, physics, and engineering. Adult learners are considered case by case.

Classes run on Zoom with a shared interactive whiteboard. Everything written during a class is saved and sent to you afterward, and every class is recorded. Recordings remain private to your family and are stored securely. Your child needs only a laptop and stable internet; older students may prefer a stylus and tablet for their own working.

Each class has a written plan agreed at the start. A typical 60 minute class runs: five minutes recapping the previous topic, twenty-five minutes on a new concept and worked examples, twenty minutes of guided practice with live feedback, and ten minutes of consolidation plus a clear task to take away. For students in an examination year, classes shift toward past papers as the date approaches.

In writing, at three levels. A note after every class: what was covered, what was understood, what to revisit. A report every two weeks, with topic-level mastery. And a graded mock examination each half term, marked to the standard of your child's curriculum. You will always know precisely where your child stands, because I will have written it down.

The complimentary 45-minute assessment is the trial. Once you are ready, single classes can also be booked individually if you would rather not commit to a bundle straight away.

Tuition is charged per class and varies by level. Every current fee is published on the Services page, which is the only place fees are listed, so the figure you see there is always the current one.

Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance carry no charge. Inside 24 hours I will still move the class wherever the calendar allows, and I always try. Repeated late cancellation is a conversation, not a penalty.

It depends on the starting point. Most students feel the shift within four to six classes: in confidence first, then in marks. A grade band typically takes a term of consistent weekly work; larger leaps take an academic year. I would rather give you an honest timeline than a flattering one.

Yes. Students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD and processing differences are welcome. Classes are adapted: more visual representation, shorter focused blocks, written summaries to reduce the note-taking load. If a student's needs call for specialist expertise beyond that, I will say so after the assessment.

Classes are held with families across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Evening and weekend hours are reserved to cover Pacific, Eastern, GMT, CET, GST and AEST.

I will. Every class, personally. Insight Bay is one educator with a Master's in Astronautics and Space Engineering, and no part of the teaching is delegated to an assistant, a contractor or a marketplace educator. If I am unavailable, the class is rescheduled rather than covered by someone else.

This is the reason places are limited. It is also the reason the person who assesses your child in the first 45 minutes is the same person teaching them a year later.

The most important line: a parent or guardian may join any class, at any time, unannounced. No notice is required and none should be given. Communication about a student goes to the parent, and I do not hold private messaging channels with a child on any platform.

They are taught, priced and bookable. Physics runs from mechanics and electricity at school level through to A-Level and AP, and there is a physics page with a worked example so you can judge the standard rather than take my word for it.

Space exploration is the one genuinely unusual thing here: orbital mechanics, the rocket equation, mission design. It is taught by someone who studied astronautics rather than someone who read about it. The space exploration page shows real working, including the arithmetic.

Two separate tracks, often run together. For admissions: Digital SAT Math into the 750 and above band, AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Physics 1, 2 and C, and the reasoning that admissions readers look for in a mathematics or engineering application.

For competitions: AMC 8, 10 and 12, AIME, and physics olympiad routes including F = ma. These are detailed on the Beyond the Syllabus page. Competition work is a deliberate detour away from the examination paper, so we decide together whether your child wants depth or wants the grade and their evenings back. Both answers are legitimate.
